I’ve been a collector for 12 years. I have a small problem with collecting decks, thankfully curbed by limited funding. 😂 Thankfully, I’m also pretty particular about the decks I keep, which makes me more discriminating about those I do buy.
I almost exclusively purchase decks that I will use, with some exceptions. I enjoy using tarot as a secular tool and for purely aesthetic purposes. I recently inherited 3 vintage decks from an elderly male relative that I was close to before he passed. The tragedy is that he never felt comfortable enough to so much as admit knowing anything about tarot. The decks are clearly well-worn. 😞
I have 7 or 8 and possibly more decks to trade or sell right now. I look forward to learning more about tarot decks and their care, meeting like-minded peeps and seeing what’s out there. :)
