As forum gatekeeper, I just got email from someone making a sort of "antiques roadshow" programme, and wants to feature one or more tarot collection - with small backstory/ looking at a special deck / whatever. Her name's Rebecca Hovel.
I have cheekily emailed some people here, but in case anyone else has any ideas, or if their email is out of date (three have bounced so far): - I'm about to be on the road, so can't keep reliable tabs on this.

She says:
My name is Rebecca and I'm doing research on tarot card decks. I came across your website and wanted to see if you might know any collectors who own a rare, vintage, and extremely valuable deck.

I don't know enough about the tarot world and what type of deck exactly but I'm working for a tv show similar to antique road shows and looking for tarot decks that are super rare and extremely high in value, maybe ones that have a historical context and interesting backstory.

Thanks for this info! I’m based on NY and CA and the show is taking place in those two cities but open to collections anywhere. The show is a docuseries for a big network, on its fourth season. We’re looking specifically for collectors with collections who are excited to share their collection on television.

Our angle is mostly on the most valuable collections and those collectors and knowing why they decided to start collecting, what they love about it, etc.

If you’re open to asking the collectors if they might be interested, that would be amazing. You can definitely give them my email address if so. Let me know how this all sounds.

I will try and check PMs, but just in case, her email is rehovel @ gmail.com - it is up on her website, so I hope it doesn't cause a problem...)
