I'd agree that most of these variants are fairly inconsequential and are simply different colour choices (and care or lack of attention) from the colourists. The Aces, however, show similar framing differences to those discussed by OnePotato. I haven't compared them exactly with his, but it seems that there were several printings. I wonder how many cards were printed in one batch? I'd also like to know if there are many variant card backs. The ones I've seen are all red, but there seem to be at least two different styles: 1. Checkered backs, like I've shown above 2.
