Woodcuts from Nazari

There is an interesting series of woodcuts in the important allegorical work by Giovanni Battista Nazari, Il metamorfosi metallico et humano... Brescia, 1564. The first two images were in the first edition, however, a further four illustrations were added to the second and third editions, which were retitled Della tramutatione metallica sogni tre..., and issued in 1572 and 1599. The illustrations are reminiscent of woodcuts in the famous Hypnerotomachia Poliphilio, 1499.
