Chart of Alchemy printed books in Latin

This is a chart showing the history of alchemical publication in Latin.The rate of publication gradually increases from the period of incunables through the 16th Century, with a peak around 1570. There is a considerable increase in publications during the 'Rosicrucian' period (the second decade of the 17th Century). After this there is a bit of a dip until 1650, when the rate of Latin publication increases, peaking around 1680. The rate of publication subsequently decreases and tails off in the 18th century.
