Chart of Alchemy printed books in German

This is a chart showing the history of alchemical publication in German. There is quite a significant level of publication of German books on alchemy in the 16th century, peaking around 1570. In the 17th century we see a rise during the 'Rosicrucian' period, and another peak around 1680. Publication remains at a high level during the 18th century, with a small peak about 1780.
