Early Chemistry Industry - Pirotechnia

Vannoccio Biringuccio (c.1480-c.1539) was one of the earliest of Italian metallurgists. His very influential manual on metalworking, De la pirotechnia, was published posthumously in 1540. It was illustrated with a number of woodcuts, some of which depicted the chemical processes emerging at that time.
